MACK Associates LLC (MACK) is an engineering and environmental consulting firm that provides planning, permitting, and consulting services to private and public sector clients throughout the country.

MACK approaches its work with a clear understanding of the increasingly complex regulatory processes faced by its clients. The company works closely with its clients to develop plans, projects and strategies that: (1) use sound engineering and environmental principles; (2) most effectively meet its clients’ short- and long-term goals and objectives; (3) address potential risks; (4) anticipate market, economic and regulatory trends; and (5) resolve implementation issues in the field based on extensive experience.

MACK’s work is fully supported by GIS analysis and graphics, state-of-the-art computer models,
and necessary field equipment.

Michael Kovalevich, CEO

Michael Kovalevich is a disabled veteran who served two tours in Vietnam and in the Gulf War. He was also President of AARC TEAM a diversified engineering and environmental company for more than ten years. His engineering skills have allowed him to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex projects including evaluations at the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum on the Hudson River. His dedication and commitment placed him in unique circumstance to coordinate the Veterans Day Parade in NYC for many years, raise the flag at the Veterans Day ceremony at Madison Square Park in NYC for the past 16 years, and coordinate veterans outreach programs in Northeast Pennsylvania for many years.

A. Brook Crossan, Ph.D., P.E., President

A. Brook Crossan has 37 years experience as an environmental engineer and scientist in more than 30 of the United States. He has extensive multi-media experience, having conducted numerous air quality studies (point, line and area source modeling), noise monitoring, modeling and mitigation design, and water quality monitoring/modeling studies. He also specializes in wetlands impact and mitigation studies and environmental permitting. At MACK, Dr. Crossan uses his strong multidisciplinary experience for both public and private clients to consider the big picture and solve complex problems. This is especially effective in managing the preparation of complex NEPA documents, or obtaining difficult permits.
